World Class Language Institute offers an opportunity to improve language skills for career advancement and
personal development. The World Class Language Institute provides conversational English Classes at Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced levels.
Classes are designed for non-native English speakers to increase their conversational ability and their vocabulary. The Basic English Skills Test (BEST), developed by the Center for Applied Linguistics, is administered to each prospective student to determine appropriate class level. Emphasis is given to daily, spoken English with related grammar, reading and writing assignments as appropriate. The 10-week course is held at least three times per year; each class is two hours long plus a 20-minute break. English classes are offered at other organizations around the Washington, DC area.
